Mark Elliott Fite is an American actor and comedian whose career spans Broadway, television, film, and live comedy performance. He made his Broadway appearance in 1982, with credits that include Cleavage.

Fite is a founding member of the comedy ensemble 2 Headed Dog, formed alongside comedians Jim Turner, Dave Allen, and Craig Anton. Through that group and independently, he has created and performed in a range of comedy productions, among them The Tony Martini Variety Hour, Bob's Office Party, The Rudy Casoni Show, Girly Magazine Party, Clowntown City Limits, and Wife Swappers. His stage work has also taken him through several prominent Los Angeles theatre companies, including The Actors' Gang, Theater of NOTE, and the Padua Hills Playwrights' Festival, where he collaborated with playwrights Murray Mednick, Leon Martell, Marlane Meyer, and John Steppling. Beyond Los Angeles, Fite has performed at comedy venues and festivals across the country, as well as at local L.A. events such as Lucha VaVoom and Brookledge Follies.

During the 1990s, Fite became recognizable to television audiences through his recurring role as "Mark the Trasher" on the MTV game show Trashed, in which he demolished the prized possessions of contestants. His subsequent television appearances include Seinfeld, Friends, NewsRadio, Grey's Anatomy, Parenthood, Scandal, Criminal Minds, Rules of Engagement, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show, SpongeBob SquarePants, Infinity Train, and Clash-A-Rama!.

Fite's film work includes Fight Club, Independence Day, Godzilla, The Adventures of Pinocchio, Off the Lip, and Elephant Sighs. He also appeared in the short film La Dy Dior, a Dior production directed by John Cameron Mitchell and starring Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard. In 2009, he performed in the comedy Matthew Modine Saves the Alpacas at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, sharing the stage with Matthew Modine and French Stewart. In 2016, he performed onstage with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall in La Mer, presented as part of the L.A. Phil Symphonies For Youth Program.
