Marion Coakley (September 22, 1896 – August 30, 1968) was an American actress whose career spanned stage and screen. Her Broadway work extended from 1916 to 1927, encompassing a range of theatrical productions across more than a decade.
Coakley appeared in several notable stage productions during her career. Her credits include The Country Cousin, which she performed in 1917, as well as The Mountain Man in 1922 and The Werewolf in 1924. Additional Broadway appearances included Barnum Was Right, Arabian Nightmare, Julius Caesar, An American Ace, The Meanest Man in the World, Cappy, and The Racket in 1927.
Her work extended beyond the stage into film. Coakley appeared in The Lost Battalion in 1919 and The Enchanted Cottage in 1924.
Coakley's image has been preserved in institutional archives. The New York Public Library holds a collection of photographs of her originating from White Studio, and the Library of Congress maintains a glass negative photograph of her among its holdings.
