Marguerite MacIntyre is an American actress, writer, and producer whose career has spanned stage, television, and film. She is recognized for her television roles as Nicole Trager in the series Kyle XY and as Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes in The Vampire Diaries, a role she held from 2009 through 2017. She also appeared as Miss Rhode Island in the 1994 Seinfeld episode "The Chaperone." Since the early 2010s, MacIntyre has been based in Nashville, Tennessee.
