About
Mac Brandt is an American actor who built his screen career through prominent roles in television drama before making his Broadway debut in 2025. He is perhaps best recognized for playing C.O. Mack Andrews on the Fox crime drama Prison Break, a role he held from 2005 to 2006, and for his recurring work as Mac Sullivan on the Audience Network sports drama Kingdom, which ran from 2014 to 2017.
Brandt grew up in the Lombard, Illinois area and graduated from Montini Catholic High School in 1998, where he was president of student government and a starting nose guard on the football team. He went on to earn a theater degree from Columbia College Chicago.
In 2025, Brandt made his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck, a production starring George Clooney and directed by David Cromer. Cromer had previously been Brandt's instructor during his time at Columbia College Chicago.
