Lynn Milgrim is an American actress born on March 17, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose career has spanned Broadway, regional theater, film, and television. She earned a degree from Swarthmore College and went on to receive a master's degree in elementary education from Harvard University in 1965. While teaching sixth grade in Arlington, Massachusetts, she pursued her theatrical interests by working nights at the Loeb Drama Center.

Milgrim's Broadway career extended from 1970 to 1984 and included four productions. She appeared in Bedroom Farce as Jan, Otherwise Engaged as Davina, and Charley's Aunt as Amy Spettigue, with Brighton Beach Memoirs rounding out her Broadway credits. Beyond Broadway, she built an extensive stage résumé in regional and off-Broadway venues. At the Actors Theatre of Louisville, she played Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and at the Williamstown Theatre Festival she portrayed Celimene in Molière's The Misanthrope alongside Emery Battis. Her work at Williams College also included the role of Mrs. Yang in Brecht's The Good Woman of Setzuan and Geraldine Barclay in Joe Orton's What the Butler Saw. At South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, she played the mother-in-law in Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle, and later appeared there in Samuel D. Hunter's Rest and John Patrick Shanley's Outside Mullingar. Additional stage work includes Lynne Meadow's Close of Play, WIN/LOSE/DRAW at the Provincetown Playhouse, Elinor Jones's What Would Jeanne Moreau Do?, a revival of Joseph Kesselring's Arsenic and Old Lace at La Mirada Theatre in Los Angeles, George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion at the Pasadena Playhouse, Eastern Standard at the Coast Playhouse, Hedda Gabler, and A Doll's House, Part 2.

Her film work includes Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon (1970), Enormous Changes at the Last Minute (1983), and two television films starring Cybill Shepherd: Telling Secrets (1993) and Baby Brokers (1994). On television, Milgrim accumulated guest and recurring appearances across numerous series, among them The Wonder Years, Life Goes On, Mama's Family, Knots Landing, Who's the Boss?, Highway to Heaven, The Equalizer, CBS Summer Playhouse, The Doctors, and 9-1-1.

Milgrim is married to actor H. Richard Greene, and together they have a daughter. The couple shared recurring roles on The Wonder Years, playing Jim and Evelyn Cooper, the parents of the character Winnie Cooper.
