Luther Saxon (July 12, 1916 – September 12, 2017) was an American tenor born in Fairfax, South Carolina. His Broadway career spanned from 1939 to 1943, and he lived to the age of 101.

Saxon made his Broadway debut in Susanna, Don't You Cry, a musical romance that ran from May 22 to May 27, 1939, with the Hall Johnson Choir. His most prominent stage role came in 1943, when he originated the part of Joe in Carmen Jones, the Broadway musical that would become one of his defining credits.

Beyond his stage work, Saxon recorded the original cast album of Carmen Jones for Decca (DL 9021) in 1955. He also performed internationally as a soloist with de Paur's Infantry Chorus, touring around the world throughout his career.
