Lucy Peacock is a Canadian actress born on October 4, 1960, in England. The daughter of theatre administrator David Peacock and Georgia Thorndike, she is the niece of actress Sybil Thorndike. Peacock completed her training at the National Theatre School of Canada in 1983.

Her professional stage career has been defined largely by her work at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where she began performing in 1984. Over the following three decades, Peacock accumulated credits in more than 60 productions at Stratford through 2023, with her work spanning more than 30 Shakespearean roles as well as appearances in musicals.

Peacock made her Broadway appearance in 2004, playing Regan in William Shakespeare's King Lear. The production ran at the Vivian Beaumont Theater from March 4 to April 18, 2004. Beyond Broadway, she appeared in Do You Turn Somersaults? by Aleksei Arbuzov at Talk Is Free Theatre in 2011.

Her screen credits include nine film and television roles. Among these are Luciana in The Comedy of Errors (1989), Amelia Sandhurst in Avonlea (1992), June Woodruff in Street Legal (1992), roles in Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and Demons (both 1995, as Marilyn), Peggy Bolger in Forever Knight (1996), Mrs. Brewer in Goosebumps (1996), Audrey in As You Like It (2010), and an earlier appearance in Der Opernball (1978) as Marguérite.

Peacock is also the author of a book of poems titled Limericks by Lucy Peacock as The Duchess of Malfi - written as she lay dead on the stage, published in 2011.
