Lou Frizzell (June 10, 1920 – June 17, 1979) was an American actor and music director born in Missouri. His career spanned Broadway productions, television, and film.

Frizzell's Broadway work extended from 1955 to 1964 and included a range of dramatic productions. His stage credits encompassed Marco Millions, After the Fall, Great Day in the Morning, The Andersonville Trial, and Red Roses for Me.

On television, Frizzell became widely recognized for his recurring role as Dusty Rhodes on the American western series Bonanza. He also accumulated credits in film throughout his career.

Frizzell died on June 17, 1979, at his home in Los Angeles, California, one week after his 59th birthday. The cause of death was lung cancer.
