Loren Lott

Loren Lott is an American actress and singer born on September 9, 1992, in San Diego, California. She is recognized for her work across musical theater, television, and competition programming.

Lott first gained national attention as a Top 24 semifinalist on the fourteenth season of American Idol. She advanced to the Top 16 through viewer votes but did not secure a spot in the Top 12 and was not selected for a wild-card position, resulting in her elimination at that stage of the competition.

Following her time on Idol, Lott transitioned to Broadway, where she appeared in two productions between 2014 and 2017. In Motown: The Musical, she took on four distinct roles: Esther Gordy Edwards, Lula Mae Hardaway, Gladys Horton, and one of the Vandellas. She also served as an understudy for the role of Diana Ross in that production. Subsequently, Lott joined the cast of Once on This Island, a revival that won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play. Within that production she performed as a Storyteller in the ensemble and served as understudy and later replacement for the leading role of Ti Moune.

Lott has also built a television career. She portrayed Ana Hamilton in a recurring role on the daytime drama The Young and the Restless, appearing in that capacity in 2018 and 2019 and again in 2024. In 2022, she played Lucy Conrad on the series The Porter.
