Lindsay Nicole Chambers

Lindsay Nicole Chambers, born April 22, 1980, is an American actress and singer whose career has spanned Broadway, touring productions, off-Broadway stages, and television.

Chambers began building her stage resume in the touring production of Hairspray, where she served as understudy for the female authority figure and Penny Pingleton from 2004 to 2005. She transitioned to Broadway in 2006, joining the company of Hairspray. She subsequently became a swing in the Broadway production of Legally Blonde before shifting into an understudy role for the character Enid in that same show. In 2009, Chambers performed in the off-off-Broadway production Perez Hilton Saves the Universe (or at least the greater Los Angeles area): the Musical!, taking on several characters throughout the run.

Chambers originated the role of Robin in Lysistrata Jones, first performing the part off-Broadway before the production transferred to Broadway in 2012. Following the close of that show, she joined the national tour of Elf, playing the character Jovie. Her off-Broadway work during this period also included the role of the Velocirapter of Science in Triassic Parq, an appearance in the revue Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking, and the role of Robyn in Sex Tips For Straight Women From A Gay Man. In 2014, she began playing Lauren in the national tour of Kinky Boots, remaining with the production until 2015.

Beyond the stage, Chambers is recognized for her recurring role as Gail Liner on the web series Submissions Only, which she began in 2010.

On February 14, 2012, Chambers married Chris Barron, the lead singer of the band Spin Doctors.
