Lindsay Frost

Lindsay Frost is an American actress born on June 4, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was raised before establishing a career in film, television, and theater. She is the daughter of actor Warren Frost.

Frost began her television career in 1984, taking on the role of Betsy Stewart Andropoulos on the daytime soap opera As the World Turns, a part she held until 1988. Her subsequent television work included recurring and series regular roles across multiple genres: Dr. Jessie Lane in the drama Birdland, Sergeant Helen Sullivan in the crime drama High Incident, Fay Pernovick in Nightmare Cafe, and Claire Stark in the crime drama Shark. From 2001 to 2006, she appeared in the recurring role of Maggie on Crossing Jordan. Her guest credits span a wide range of prominent series, among them Lost, Boston Legal, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, and Frasier.

In film, Frost appeared in the cult horror-comedy Dead Heat in 1988, playing the character Randi James, and later took the role of Ruth Embry in the 2002 horror film The Ring.

Her stage work brought her to Broadway in 1988, when she appeared in M. Butterfly, the same year her run on As the World Turns concluded.

Frost is married to video game producer Rick Giolito. The couple has two sons: Lucas Giolito, a Major League Baseball pitcher, and Casey Giolito, an actor.
