Leslie Hendrix

Leslie Hendrix is an American actress whose career spans stage and screen. She is widely recognized for her recurring role as medical examiner Elizabeth Rodgers across four entries in the Law & Order franchise: Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Law & Order: Trial by Jury. On the soap opera All My Children, she portrayed Judge Hannah Lampert. In the third season of the television series Gotham, Hendrix appeared as Kathryn Monroe, the leader of the Court of Owls.

Hendrix made her Broadway debut in 1992 in A Streetcar Named Desire, where she served as understudy for the role of Blanche DuBois. When star Jessica Lange fell ill after the first act of a performance, Hendrix had eleven minutes to have her makeup applied and put on the costume and wig before taking over the role. She returned to Broadway in 1995 with Indiscretions, followed by The Music Man in 2000. Hollywood Arms brought her back to Broadway in 2002, and she appeared in The Music Master as an additional stage credit. Her most recent Broadway appearance came in 2015 with Airline Highway, marking a career on the New York stage that extended more than two decades.
