Leonora Ottinger was an American actress who worked in both silent film and stage performance. She appeared in a total of 16 films over the course of her screen career, with the majority of her professional focus directed toward the stage.
Ottinger's Broadway career spanned more than a decade. She appeared in The Melting Pot in 1909 and later took the stage in Genius and the Crowd in 1920. Her film work ran roughly from 1913 through 1921 and included titles such as The Spender, His Wife's Child, and Unto the Third Generation, all from 1913. She continued appearing in films through the mid-to-late 1910s, with credits including The Matchmakers (1915), Her Husband's Honor, A Wife at Bay, The Narrow Path, and The Littlest Magdalene, all in 1916. Her later screen appearances included The Tell-Tale Step and One Bride Too Many in 1917, A Proxy Husband in 1919, and The Frisky Mrs. Johnson in 1920, in which she played the role of Mrs. Birkenread. Her final two film credits, The Gilded Lily and The Miracle of Manhattan, were both released in 1921. During her film career, Ottinger appeared alongside actor William Garwood in a number of short films.
Her husband was Benjamin Von Ottinger, of Larchmont, New York.
