Leanne Best is an English actress born on 15 June 1979 who made her Broadway debut in 2024 in The Hills of California. She received her training at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and is based in southwest London.
Best has built a substantial television career in the United Kingdom. She portrayed Jane Cobden in the BBC series Ripper Street and took on the role of Celia Donnelly in the Arctic thriller Fortitude. In September 2016, she joined the ITV comedy series Cold Feet as Tina Reynolds, and later appeared in the third series of Line of Duty. She also appeared in an episode of Ted Lasso as Jamie Tartt's mother.
Her screen work extends to film as well. In 2014 she played the title role in The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, and the following year she appeared as Min Sakul in the Star Wars sequel The Force Awakens.
