Kevin Scully Geer (November 7, 1952 – January 25, 2017) was an American actor whose work spanned stage, film, and television across four decades. Born in Reno, Nevada, he lost his father in infancy and subsequently relocated to Los Angeles with his mother, Claire Scully Geer. After completing his education at a military academy in southern California, he moved to New York City to pursue acting, beginning his professional career in 1975.

Geer's Broadway career extended from 1988 to 2004 and encompassed four productions. His first Broadway credit came with A Streetcar Named Desire in 1988, followed by The Rose Tattoo in 1995. In 1998 he appeared in both Flyovers and Side Man, and in 2004 he took part in Twelve Angry Men.

His film work included A Force of One (1979), The Pelican Brief (1993), The Contender (2000), American Gangster (2007), Bunker Hill (2008), The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009), and Shelter (2014). On television, Geer accumulated credits on The Waltons, M*A*S*H, The Equalizer, MacGyver, China Beach, Oz, Homicide: Life on the Street, and multiple entries in the Law & Order franchise.

Geer died of a heart attack on January 25, 2017, at his Manhattan home at the age of 64. Following his death, he was awarded the 2017 Obie Award for Outstanding Performance in recognition of his sustained excellence in theatre and dedication to his craft.
