Kevin Earley is an American actor and singer whose Broadway career has spanned from 1987 to 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he grew up as one of four brothers and completed his secondary education at Mundelein High School in Mundelein, Illinois. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Webster Conservatory at Webster University, located in the St. Louis, Missouri metro area, graduating in 1994. Earley is married to actress Julie Ann Emery.

Earley's Broadway history includes several productions across multiple decades. He first appeared on Broadway in Les Misérables during the 1997–98 season, performing the roles of Lesgles and understudying Enjolras. He returned to the same production the following season as part of the third U.S. National Tour, this time playing Enjolras outright. His Broadway credits continued with Thoroughly Modern Millie, in which he played Trevor Graydon during the 2003–04 run. He subsequently appeared in A Tale of Two Cities, originating the role of Ernest Defarge when the production began previews on August 19, 2008, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. He later joined the Broadway cast of Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends in 2025.

Beyond Broadway, Earley built an extensive regional and touring career. He portrayed Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at Pioneer Theatre Company, and Pierre Bezukhov in Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, also at Pioneer Theatre Company. At the Fulton Opera House, he took on roles including Portia's Father and Brother Jeremiah in Something Rotten! and Robert Grove in The Play That Goes Wrong. His regional work also includes Sunset Boulevard, in which he played Joe Gillis, and Oklahoma, where he portrayed Jud Fry, both in 2010. Earlier credits include The Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, Lord Archibald Craven in The Secret Garden, and Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar. At the Hollywood Bowl, he appeared as Freddy Eynsford-Hill in My Fair Lady, Ewart Dunlop in The Music Man, and Sir Sagramore in Camelot. He also played Billy Bigelow in Carousel in both 2001 and 2003, and Thomas Jefferson in 1776 at Paper Mill Playhouse in 2009. His Off-Broadway work includes Death Takes a Holiday, in which he played Death and Prince Nikolai Sirki in 2011.

Earley's stage work extends to concert and benefit performances, including a 2007 appearance as Anatoly Sergievsky in Chess for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and a 2001 concert production of 1776 in which he played Edward Rutledge. He appeared as Enjolras in the Into the Woods companion production at the Benedum Center in 2009, alongside a separate Benedum Center production of Les Misérables the same year. His most recent stage credit is the role of Captain Georg von Trapp in a U.S. National Tour of The Sound of Music, running from 2025 to 2026.

In addition to his stage work, Earley has appeared in television and film, including a guest star role on the UPN series Girlfriends in 2006 and the role of Ramses in a live DVD recording of Ten Commandments filmed at the Kodak Theatre in 2006. He has also released recordings, including a solo CD titled Earley Standards on Midlothian Road Productions Inc. and an original cast recording for Ripper, in which he played Chester, on Nelsen Productions Inc.
