Kevin Carolan

Kevin Carolan is an American actor and comedian born on May 22, 1968, who was raised in Wanaque, New Jersey, where he attended St. Francis Parochial Elementary School and Neumann Prep High School. Though his database record lists the Bronx, New York as his origin, Carolan's formative years were spent in New Jersey. He went on to study at Montclair State University, graduating in 1990 with a degree in theater and film studies.

Carolan's Broadway career spans from 2000 to 2018 and includes five productions. He appeared in Dirty Blonde and Chicago early in his stage career, followed by The Ritz. He later joined the cast of Newsies the Musical and, more recently, Come From Away. In addition to his Broadway work, Carolan has performed in national tours and at City Center Encores!, where he appeared in a production of Pardon My English.

His regional theater work has taken him to a number of prominent venues. At George Street Playhouse, he performed in The Jungle Book and Lips Together, Teeth Apart. Other regional credits include A Thousand Clowns at Studio Arena, Dirty Blonde at Hangar Theatre, Kudzu at both Ford's Theater and Goodspeed, Happy Days the Musical, and A Streetcar Named Desire.

Carolan has also maintained an active television career, with appearances on Boardwalk Empire, Orange Is the New Black, Curb Your Enthusiasm, White Collar, Fringe, The Middle, Sonny With a Chance, Spin City, Trinity, and the Law & Order franchise.

In his personal life, Carolan was married to writer Maryann Carolan, and the two have two children together.
