Kenneth Jezek

Kenneth Jezek is an American actor and dancer whose career has spanned stage, television, and film. Before establishing himself as an actor, Jezek worked as a professional dancer, touring and teaching master jazz and tap classes across the United States, Europe, and Canada.

Jezek's Broadway career ran from 1984 to 1985, with credits including Cats and 42nd Street. He also performed with the Los Angeles companies of both productions. His television work as a dancer included a regular series role on Fame, and he appeared as a featured dancer in the films Pretty in Pink and Fast Forward. In 1986 and 1987, Jezek transitioned into acting with the role of Lars Englund on the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. His credits also encompass national and local commercials, music videos, and industrial productions. Often billed as Kenny due to his middle initial being E, Jezek returned to film work in 2009 with the Advent Film Group production Come What May, in which he appeared alongside his wife Karen.

Karen Kelly, whom Jezek married in 1989, is an actress known for playing Brenda Clegg on the soap opera Capitol. The couple met at a Hollywood party in 1986. Together they have appeared in several independent Christian films, including A Father's Heart and Karla Faye Tucker: Forevermore, in which Karen played the title role. In 1999, the pair discussed their lives as born-again Christians on The 700 Club. After leaving Hollywood, they became involved in the theatrical arts ministry of a local church, where they acted, directed, and choreographed skits and musical productions.

The Jezeks relocated to Arizona in 1988 and have two daughters, Savanna and Shiloh. They reside in Chandler, Arizona. Outside of the performing arts, Jezek holds black belts and full instructor certifications in multiple martial arts disciplines. He founded Christian Freestyle Karate and owned and operated a martial arts school.
