Kelly Karbacz is an American actress born and raised in Queens, New York, who later also grew up in Manhattan. She graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York City in 1996 and went on to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, which is part of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Karbacz's Broadway career spanned from 1993 to 1996, during which she appeared in two musicals: The Sound of Music and Rent.
Beyond Broadway, Karbacz performed in New York Musical Theatre Festival productions, including But I'm a Cheerleader in 2005. It was during that production that she met Phillip James Griffith, whom she married in September 2007.
