Kayli Carter

Kayli Carter is an American actress born on July 8, 1993, who has worked across film, television, and stage, including a Broadway appearance in The Balusters in 2026. She grew up in Oviedo, Florida, and later in Chuluota, Florida, where her father worked in construction and her mother practiced as a therapist. Carter pursued formal training at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in performing arts.

Her early stage work included Mark Rylance's play Nice Fish, which she performed in productions at the West End in London, St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York City, and the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts. That experience preceded her Broadway debut, which came with The Balusters in 2026.

Carter's screen career gained significant attention in 2017 when she was cast as Sadie Rose in the Netflix western series Godless, appearing alongside Michelle Dockery, Merritt Wever, and Jeff Daniels. That same year she reunited with Wever in Charlie Says, a biographical drama about Charles Manson directed by Mary Harron, in which Carter played Squeaky Fromme opposite Hannah Murray and Matt Smith. Her performance in Private Life earned her a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female. In 2019 she appeared in Bad Education as Amber McCarden, sharing the screen with Hugh Jackman and Allison Janney.

Carter's television work continued with the 2020 miniseries Mrs. America, in which she played Pamela alongside Cate Blanchett, and the Universal Pictures film Let Him Go, where she portrayed Lorna Blackledge, the daughter-in-law of characters played by Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. In 2021 she joined the cast of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in a recurring role.
