Kate MacCluggage is an American stage actress who grew up in Groton, Connecticut. The daughter of Reid MacCluggage, she holds degrees from Wesleyan University and the Tisch School of the Arts.
MacCluggage's stage career spans regional theater and Broadway productions across nearly two decades. Her regional credits include productions of Twelfth Night at the Chautauqua Institution in 2006, The Merchant of Venice with Theatre for a New Audience in 2010, Bell Book and Candle at Long Wharf and Hartford Stage in 2012, and Intimate Apparel at McCarter Theatre in 2017. She also appeared in 39 Steps in 2010 and Boeing Boeing at Barrington Stage Company in 2024, in addition to multiple productions at the Kitchen Theatre in Ithaca, New York.
On Broadway, MacCluggage has been active from 2007 through 2024, with credits including The Farnsworth Invention and Left on Tenth. The latter, which opened in fall 2024, is an adaptation of Delia Ephron's novel of the same name.
