Karron Graves is an American actress and teacher born on November 30, 1973, in Janesville, Wisconsin. She grew up in both Sarasota, Florida, and New York City, and was a competitive swimmer who qualified for the Junior Olympics twice as a child. Graves earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama. She lives in New York with her husband, Rolando Briceno, a teacher and school administrator, and their two children, daughter Jackie Jo and son Jude.

Graves began performing at a young age, making her television debut on Saturday Night Live in 1986 as "The Girl Scout" opposite Phil Hartman. The following year, she originated the role of Clara in the world premiere of Arthur Miller's Danger: Memory! at Lincoln Center Theater, directed by Gregory Mosher. Also in 1987, she played the lead role of Miranda in the PBS television movie The Fig Tree. In 1989, she appeared as Katie Larson, the teenage daughter of the character played by Frank Converse, in the short-lived series Dolphin Cove.

During her time at Yale, Graves originated several roles, including Dora Hand in Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's The Muckle Man, Lizzie Booth in Trip Cullman's Absolutely True, Sara in A. Rey Pamatmat's Deviant, and Blanche Verse in Marcus Gardley's ...And Jesus Moonwalks the Mississippi. She went on to receive paid training with the SITI Company to star in the 2005 world premiere of Intimations for Saxophone, directed by Anne Bogart at Arena Stage. She also starred opposite James Whitmore in Trying at Ford's Theatre in 2006 and in the 70th Anniversary Celebration of Our Town in 2008.

Graves made her Broadway debut in 2007, playing Isobel Ashbrook in Helen Edmundson's Coram Boy, directed by Melly Still, a production that received a Tony Award nomination. Additional stage credits include Ginya in Leslie Ayvazian's Nine Armenians at Manhattan Theatre Club, a 2012 Off-Broadway run of The Philanderer at New York City Center with the Pearl Theatre, and a 2013 appearance in the New York Times Critics' Pick production Two Point Oh at 59E59. In 2015, she won the New Hampshire Theater Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Alice Maitland in The Peterborough Players' production of The Voysey Inheritance. For the 2015–2016 season at the Roundabout Theatre Company, she appeared in the world premiere of Lindsey Ferrentino's Ugly Lies the Bone, directed by Patricia McGregor, playing the sister of Mamie Gummer's character. She joined the cast of Amy and the Orphans during its Off-Broadway run in the spring of 2018.

On screen, Graves is perhaps most recognized for her role as Mary Warren in the 1996 film adaptation of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, which starred Daniel Day-Lewis and Winona Ryder. Her other film appearances include The Good Shepherd, the video short 5 Wishes, Late Phases, and Minor Premise. Her television credits span episodes of Law & Order on NBC, Guiding Light on CBS, Monk on USA, and The Path on Hulu.

As of 2024, Graves teaches acting at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
