Karen Aldridge is an American actress born in Richmond, California. In her youth she competed in track, and she later pursued higher education at UCLA, where she studied sociology, before earning an MFA in Acting from DePaul University.

Aldridge's stage career includes a 2010 appearance in the world premiere of Regina Taylor's The Trinity River Plays, in which she portrayed Iris Sparks. In 2013, she joined the Broadway premiere cast of Matilda the Musical, taking on the role of Mrs. Phelps, a credit that brought her significant recognition.

Beyond the stage, Aldridge has built a notable television career. She appeared in the fourth season of the anthology series Fargo in 2020, and has had a recurring role in Severance from 2022 through 2025. She is also set to appear in Alien: Earth in 2025.
