Judson Pearce Morgan

Judson Pearce Morgan is an American actor, film director, film producer, and entrepreneur. His career spans stage, television, and film, with work extending behind the camera as a writer, director, and producer.

Morgan made his Broadway appearance in 2002 in The Graduate. His television work includes recurring and guest appearances on As the World Turns (2001), Strangers with Candy (2000), Angel (2003), Cold Case (2007), and the soap opera The Studio (2005). His film credits include The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (2005), The Double (2005), Unhasped (2003), Outsource (2008), and Under New Management (2009). Reviewing his performance in The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Joe Leydon of Variety wrote that Morgan pitched his performance at a level somewhere between stylization and self-parody.

In addition to acting, Morgan has pursued directing and producing. He directed The Wager (2007) and co-wrote and co-directed The Collective (2008) with his wife, actress Kelly Overton. He also produced Imaginary Bitches (2008). The Collective earned recognition at multiple film festivals, receiving the Audience Award at the 2008 Brooklyn International Film Festival, First Runner-Up for Best HD Editing in a Feature and an Honorable Mention for Best Cinematography in a Feature at the 2008 HDFest, the Purple Heart at the 2008 Zero Film Festival, the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the 2008 Trimedia Film Festival, and the Gold Kahuna Award at the 2009 Honolulu International Film Festival. Joshua Tanzer of Off Off Off noted that Morgan, having worked primarily as an actor, delivered a fantastic job behind the camera on the film.

Outside of entertainment, Morgan has founded a video agency and an online jewelry company. He married Kelly Overton in March 2004. Their first daughter, Ever Evangeline Morgan, was born in January 2011, and their second daughter was born in July 2017.
