Jolie Jenkins is an American actress born on March 7, 1974. She completed her secondary education at Torrey Pines High School before earning a bachelor's degree in theater from Occidental College.
Jenkins made her Broadway debut in 1993 in The Who's Tommy. Her stage career preceded a wide-ranging body of work in television, where she took on starring roles in Alexa and Katie and Shasta McNasty. She has also appeared in recurring and guest capacities on numerous television series, including The West Wing, Becker, The X-Files, JAG, Las Vegas, The Game, and 2 Broke Girls.
From 2022 to 2024, Jenkins portrayed Rita Loud, the matriarch of the Loud family, in the Nickelodeon comedy series The Really Loud House. The role had previously been played by Muretta Moss in A Loud House Christmas. Jenkins reprised the character in the film A Really Loud Haunted House, and she is particularly recognized for her live-action portrayal of Rita Loud across both projects.
