John Maxim (born 20 July 1925, died 20 January 1990) was an English actor who worked across film, television, and Broadway. He occasionally performed under the name John Wills.

Maxim's screen career spanned three decades, from 1958 to 1988, during which he appeared in six films and nine television productions. His film work included The Frightened City (1961), She (1965), and Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966). On television, he took guest roles in series such as Ivanhoe and The Adventures of William Tell, where he portrayed Trooper Strauss in episode 24, "The Ensign," and Captain Markheim in episode 25, "The Unwelcome Stranger." He also appeared as Number 86 in The Prisoner.

Among his most recognizable television appearances were two roles in the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who. In The Chase he played Frankenstein's monster, and in The Moonbase he portrayed a Cyberman, the latter performance credited under his alternate name, John Wills.

In 1965, Maxim brought his career to the Broadway stage, appearing in La Grosse Valise.
