About
John Fink is an American actor born on February 11, 1940, whose career has spanned Broadway, film, and television.
Fink made his Broadway appearance in 1969 in the musical 1776. His stage work preceded a sustained presence in film and television that extended across several decades.
Among his film credits, Fink appeared in Loving (1970), The Carey Treatment (1972), and Home for the Holidays (1972). Later film roles included The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case (1976), Flatliners (1990), What's Love Got to Do with It (1993), and The Client (1994). He is perhaps most widely recognized for his appearances in two entries in the Batman franchise, Batman Forever (1995) and Batman & Robin (1997).
On television, Fink accumulated a range of supporting and minor roles beginning in the 1970s, appearing in series such as Columbo, McMillan & Wife, Saved by the Bell, and Ally McBeal. He was also cast in the 1978 Battlestar Galactica pilot, though the majority of his scenes were removed from the final cut. Those excised scenes were connected to the storyline involving Serina, played by Jane Seymour, whose "space cancer" subplot was eliminated from the finished version of the pilot.
