Jodi Thelen

Jodi Thelen is an American actress and mental health counselor born on June 12, 1962, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Thelen entered the film industry in 1981 with her screen debut in Four Friends, playing Georgia Miles, a character described as willfully free-spirited, naive, and narcissistic. She followed that role with appearances in Twilight Time and The Black Stallion Returns, both in 1982 and 1983 respectively. Her subsequent film work spans several decades and includes One Night Stand (1995), Playback (1996), The Wedding Singer (1998), You're Still Young (2004), and Til Death Does His Part (2007).

In 1983, Thelen made her Broadway debut in Brighton Beach Memoirs. Her off-Broadway work encompasses a range of productions and venues, including Springtime for Henry, Largo Desolato at The Public Theater, and The Nice and the Nasty at Playwrights Horizons. She also appeared in The Chemistry of Change and A Body of Water, the latter of which required her to perform the dual roles of Sandy and Malka. Variety cited her "stunning transformation" between the two roles, and The New York Times noted the "welcome comic bite" of her portrayal of Malka.

Thelen's television credits include Duet, Grace Under Fire, Touched by an Angel, Twin Peaks, and Joan of Arcadia. Later in her career, she became a mental health counselor based in Seattle, Washington.
