Jennifer Billingsley

Jennifer Billingsley is a retired American actress whose work spanned stage, film, and television. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was one of two daughters of Army Colonel Claude Augustus Billingsley. Her upbringing as a military dependent took her to multiple locations, including Vienna and Chicago, before she graduated with honors from Fort Smith Senior High School in Arkansas.

Billingsley began her stage career with a debut in Detroit, Michigan, before making her Broadway appearance in 1961 in the musical Carnival. Her transition to film followed in 1964, when she appeared as James Caan's girlfriend in the thriller Lady in a Cage and also took a role in the romantic drama The Young Lovers that same year. Subsequent film credits included The Spy with My Face (1965), C.C. and Company (1970), Brute Corps (1971), Welcome Home, Soldier Boys (1972), White Lightning (1973), The Thirsty Dead (1974), and Hollywood Man (1976).

On television, Billingsley held a recurring role on the daytime soap opera General Hospital. Her guest appearances across episodic television were extensive, encompassing Cimarron Strip, Naked City, Gunsmoke, Route 66, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, Dr. Kildare, The Lieutenant, Wagon Train, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mannix, The F.B.I., Hawaii Five-O, Police Story, Alice, Baretta, and The Amazing Spider-Man.

In her personal life, Billingsley was married to musician Jesse Lee Kincaid, who played classical guitar and composed music.
