Jenn Lyon

Jenn Lyon is an American actress whose career spans theatre, television, and digital media. A native of North Carolina, she grew up in small towns across the state, relocating multiple times as her father, a Methodist minister, moved for his work. She attended Ferndale Middle School and High Point Central High School before enrolling at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned her degree in 2003.

Following graduation, Lyon relocated to New York City to pursue a career in theatre. In 2006, she co-founded the comedy sketch troupe POYKPAC, serving as one of its writers and producers. The group's work led to her co-starring role in the IFC web comedy series Good Morning Internet. Her New York theatre work also brought her to Broadway, where she appeared in productions between 2006 and 2015. Her Broadway credits include two parts of Tom Stoppard's The Coast of Utopia — Part 1: Voyage and Part 2: Shipwreck — as well as the Larry David comedy Fish in the Dark.

Lyon's television career gained momentum in 2011 with guest appearances on Army Wives and Louie. She subsequently took on a recurring role as Lindsey Salazar in the FX drama Justified, appearing in the series from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, she was cast as Mackenzie Bradford-Lopez in the FX sitcom Saint George, playing the ex-wife of George Lopez's character opposite Lopez himself. She later joined the cast of the TNT drama Claws, portraying Jennifer Husser beginning in 2017. More recently, Lyon appeared as Esther Finch in the 2024 series Dead Boy Detectives and as Gillian in the 2025 series Happy Face.

In October 2019, Lyon married Taige Jensen at the Astoria World Manor in Queens, New York. The ceremony was officiated by her father, and the couple had first met thirteen years earlier at a sketch comedy show in Brooklyn. Lyon has spoken publicly about her experiences with disordered eating and treatment at the Renfrew Center, and has been an outspoken advocate for reproductive rights and body positivity.
