Jeffrey D. Sams

Jeffrey D. Sams is an American actor whose career has spanned stage, film, and television. His Broadway work includes the 1992 musical Five Guys Named Moe, which marked his presence on the New York stage.

On the small screen, Sams has been a series regular on multiple television productions, among them Medicine Ball, Sleepwalkers, Cupid, Wasteland, and Line of Fire. Recurring roles on Strong Medicine, Law & Order, and CSI have also featured him throughout his television career. Beginning in 2005, he took on the recurring role of Terrence Cook, a baseball player, on Rob Thomas's Veronica Mars. Thomas had previously worked with Sams on Cupid, and publicly expressed interest in eventually reuniting Sams on Veronica Mars with his Cupid co-stars Paula Marshall and Jeremy Piven.

Sams's film work includes the 1993 motion picture Fly by Night and the 1997 film Soul Food. That same year, he portrayed Adam Clayborne in the Hallmark Hall of Fame television movie Rose Hill, which starred Jennifer Garner as Mary Rose Clayborne. He also appeared in the Netflix film Reality High.
