Jeff Trachta

Jeff Trachta is an American actor and singer born on October 6, 1960, in Staten Island, New York. He is recognized across multiple entertainment platforms, with work spanning television, stage, and live performance.

Trachta gained significant television exposure through his role as Thorne Forrester on the daytime soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, a part he held from 1989 to 1996. He was the second actor to take on the character, following Clayton Norcross in the role and preceding Winsor Harmon.

On stage, Trachta brought his talents to Broadway in 1994, appearing in Grease. The production marked his presence among the New York theater community, connecting his roots in Staten Island to a prominent credit on the Broadway stage.

Beyond his television and theater work, Trachta has maintained an active performance career in other venues. In June 2008, he performed aboard the Holland America vessel M.S. Amsterdam during a voyage to Alaska. He also appeared in the twelfth season of America's Got Talent, where he competed as "The Singing Trump," an act built around an impersonation of President Donald Trump. His audition earned three affirmative votes from the judges, allowing him to advance, though he was ultimately eliminated at the quarterfinal stage.
