Jeff Hyslop is a Canadian actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and director born on May 30, 1951, in Vancouver, British Columbia. His career has spanned musical theatre, television, and film, with work on Broadway extending from 1975 to 2002.

Hyslop's Broadway credits include A Chorus Line, in which he played Mike and understudied the role of Paul, Kiss of the Spider Woman, in which he played Molina, and The Producers, where he appeared as Carmen Ghia and understudied Leo Bloom. Both A Chorus Line and Kiss of the Spider Woman also featured him on US tours, and he performed The Producers on the US tour as well.

Among his most recognized stage roles is the title character in the Canadian production of The Phantom of the Opera, which he performed in 1990. His stage work across his career has encompassed a wide range of productions, including Anne of Green Gables, Cabaret, Pippin, The Music Man, Godspell, The Fantasticks, Bye Bye Birdie, Dames at Sea, The Pirates of Penzance, The Wizard of Oz, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, Jane Eyre, Love's Labour's Lost, Hamlet, and Larry's Party, among others. He has also performed two one-man shows, Jeff Hyslop: Feet First and Jeff Hyslop Now!

On television, Hyslop is widely known for playing Jeff the mannequin on the Canadian children's series Today's Special, a role he held from 1981 to 1987. His film appearances include The Wars (1983), in which he played Clifford Purchas, Once Upon a Giant (1988), in which he played Prince Daryl, and The Magic of Aladdin (1989). Earlier screen work includes the 1973 production of Jesus Christ Superstar, in which he played Philip, and the 1980 documentary Dancin' Man, in which he appeared as himself.

In addition to performing, Hyslop has directed and choreographed numerous productions, among them Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, Guys and Dolls, Company, Side by Side by Sondheim, They're Playing Our Song, Irma la Douce, Godspell, and Jacob Two-Two, as well as his own one-man shows. He also directed and choreographed a McCartney television special and Today's Special.

Hyslop is married to Vancouver-born singer and actress Ruth Nichol. The couple have one daughter, Gemma Nichol Hyslop, born in 1977, who has a daughter named Remmick Hyslop.
