Jeanne Paulsen

Jeanne Paulsen is an American actress whose Broadway career spanned from 1993 to 2002. She earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play in 1994 for her work in The Kentucky Cycle, which was directed by Warner Shook. Her second Broadway credit was The Crucible, directed by Richard Eyre, in which she played Ann Putnam.

Paulsen holds an M.F.A. from the graduate acting program at UCSD. She spent seven seasons as a member of the resident acting company at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At the Intiman Theatre, she appeared in a range of productions including Aristocrats, Faith Healer, Angels in America, The Little Foxes, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and The Kentucky Cycle.

Her regional theater work spans numerous prominent institutions. At the South Coast Repertory, her portrayal of Rose in Holy Days earned her an L.A. Drama Critics' Circle Award. At Arizona Theatre Company she appeared in A Moon for the Misbegotten and Copenhagen. Additional regional credits include productions at La Jolla Playhouse, the Mark Taper Forum, Geva Theatre, where she appeared in Death of a Salesman, Denver Center, Long Wharf Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and the American Conservatory Theater.

Paulsen's television work includes appearances on Law & Order, Breaking Free, and Promised Land.
