Jason Minor

Jason Temujin Minor is an American Broadway performer, artist, writer, and comic book artist. His stage career included appearances on Broadway between 1987 and 1989, with credits in the musical Gypsy and the production Teddy & Alice.

Beyond the stage, Minor built a career spanning more than two decades in the graphic arts field. He attended the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in 1990 and established his own freelance studio, Baraka Studios, in 1998. His work has encompassed comic books, 3D graphics, book covers, web design, advertising design, illustration, and fine art.

In comic books, Minor contributed as an inker, penciler, and artist to a wide range of titles. His credits include The Books of Magic, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Animal Man, Deadpool, Batman, X-Men, Terror Inc., Shadowman, Vampirella, Spider-Man, The Punisher, and Excalibur, among others. He also contributed artwork to the Eisner Award-winning anthology Big Book of Urban Legends. In 1997, Minor co-created the science fiction miniseries BrainBanx with writer Elaine Lee, published through the Helix imprint of DC Comics.

In 2000, Minor shifted from 2D comic and graphic art to 3D computer game art. After a period at Kinesoft, he joined Sony Online Entertainment, where he worked as an environment and character artist on the MMO Star Wars Galaxies. He served as lead character artist on the game's Rage of the Wookiees expansion and became art director of Star Wars Galaxies: Live in 2004. In 2006, he joined BioWare as lead character artist on Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Minor has also pursued writing, winning an award for his short story "A Dance in the Woods." He contributed a short story and illustrations to the horror flash fiction anthology Flashes of Fear and writes a monthly serialized story titled "Chapter Play." He is a member of the San Gabriel Writer's League.
