Jarlath Conroy is an Irish theatre, film, and television actor born on September 30, 1944, in Galway, Ireland. His career spans stage, screen, and voice work across multiple decades, beginning in 1971 and encompassing Broadway productions, Hollywood films, major television series, and video game performances.

Conroy's Broadway career ran from 1976 to 2008 and included productions across a range of dramatic works. He starred in The Ghetto and appeared in Philadelphia, Here I Come!, Macbeth, and On the Waterfront, among other productions.

Beyond Broadway, Conroy built a substantial screen career. His film credits include a role as a Mercenary in Suit in Heaven's Gate (1980), Will in the television film The Elephant Man (1982), and Bill McDermott in Day of the Dead (1985). He went on to appear in Kinsey (2004), Stay (2005), The Marconi Bros. (2008), True Grit (2010), The Art of Getting By (2011), Roadie (2011), Putzel (2012), the short film August Heat (2014), To Keep the Light (2016), and The Ulysses Project (2022), in which he played Barrister JJ Molloy and The Chemist. He is also attached to Screamboat (2025) as Barry and The Return of Steamboat Willie in the role of Bob.

On television, Conroy appeared in NYPD Blue in 1994, playing a school teacher in the episode "Double Abandando." He later appeared in Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Mr. Coogan in the 2011 episode "Missing Pieces," and in two episodes of The Knick (2015) as The Hypnotist.

Conroy has also worked as a voice actor, providing the voice of Seamus in the 1998 video game John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles and Aiden O'Malley in Rockstar Games's Grand Theft Auto IV (2008).

In 2016, the Yale Repertory Theatre staged a production of Samuel Beckett's Happy Days, directed by James Bundy, with Conroy as Willie opposite Dianne Wiest as Winnie. The production subsequently transferred to Theatre for a New Audience in Downtown Brooklyn, New York, where Conroy and Wiest reprised their respective roles in April and May 2017.
