Jane Wenham, born Ann Jane Wenham Figgins on 26 November 1927 in Southampton, Hampshire, England, was an English actress who worked across stage, film, and television. She died on 15 November 2018 at the age of 90.
Wenham appeared on Broadway in 1946, performing in three productions: The Critic, Oedipus Rex, and King Henry IV, Part II. All three productions were staged during the same Broadway season, representing her work on the American stage.
Her screen career began with a film role in the 1954 adaptation of J. B. Priestley's An Inspector Calls, which marked her movie debut. She went on to build a career in both film and television.
In her personal life, Wenham was married to actor Albert Finney from 1957 to 1961. The two had a son together, Simon, who pursued a career as a cameraman.
