Horvath was part of the original Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera, where she served as understudy and performed the roles of Christine and Carlotta. Her additional Broadway appearances during the period from 1984 to 1989 include The Threepenny Opera, Sweet Charity, the play Oliver Oliver, and Cats.
