Jamie Sorrentini

Jamie Sorrentini, also known as Jamie Perez Sorrentini and Jamie Mills, is an American actress working across film, television, and theatre. Born in New Jersey, she began her career in advertisements at the age of seven. She later studied acting, art history, and photography at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she also completed the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute program, earning a B.F.A. degree upon graduation.

Early in her career, Sorrentini performed off-Broadway alongside actor Tom Hulce in Haddock's Eyes, a production centered on the life of author Lewis Carroll. Her television work began in 1987, when she took on the role of Kathy Grovner in the television movie A Hobo's Christmas. Her performance in that film was noted by Ray Benson in a review published in The State.

In 2000, Sorrentini joined the cast of a Harold Prince-directed U.S. national tour of Parade, the 1999 Tony Award-winning musical, which also constitutes her Broadway credit. Two years later, she appeared in Birdy's Bachelorette Party, a play that received favorable notice from Barbara and Scott Siegel in a Theatremania review. Also in 2002, she portrayed Vincenza Agosto in an episode of the television program Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Sorrentini is married to singer and musician Tiziano Lugli. Both she and Lugli are former members of the Church of Scientology.
