Jack Melford, born John Kenneth George Melford Smith on 5 September 1899, was a British actor whose career spanned stage, film, and television. He died on 22 October 1972. His brother was screenwriter and film director Austin Melford.

Melford began his stage career at the age of 12 and went on to establish himself as a versatile performer across multiple mediums. His film work began in 1931, and he subsequently accumulated credits in both cinema and television over the following decades. Among his television appearances was a role in the Doctor Who serial The Myth Makers, in which he portrayed Menelaus. He also appeared in the 1960 television series Danger Man, playing the character Caldwell in the episode "The Lonely Chair."

In 1951, Melford appeared on Broadway in two productions: Antony and Cleopatra and Caesar and Cleopatra. His daughter, Jill Melford, also pursued a career as an actress.
