J. Paul Boehmer is an American actor and voice artist born on October 30, 1965, in Dayton, Ohio. He holds a BFA from Southern Methodist University and earned a Master of Fine Arts in 1992 from the Professional Theater Training Program at the University of Delaware.
Boehmer's stage career has encompassed both US regional theatre and Broadway. In 1996, he appeared on Broadway in An Ideal Husband, a credit for which he received a Theatre World Special Award that same year.
His television work spans multiple series, with notable appearances in Star Trek, Frasier, Lost, and Nip/Tuck. On the feature film side, Boehmer has appeared in Skyline and The Good German, directed by George Clooney.
Beyond performance, Boehmer has worked extensively as a voice artist, recording audiobooks for Books on Tape and Listening Library. He has also served as a teacher of voice and speech at the Los Angeles High School of the Arts.
