About
Heather Parcells is an American actress, singer, and dancer who trained in musical theatre at Florida State University, where she earned a BFA. Before her professional career began, Parcells attended Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News, Virginia, and first performed onstage during her junior year of high school in the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. Her earliest paid work came at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she performed as Gordon the Dragon in a full-body costume.
Parcells made her Broadway debut in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and went on to appear on Broadway between 2002 and 2016. In 2007 she played Judy in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. Additional Broadway credits include Soul Doctor, the musical Wonderland, Finding Neverland, and Tuck Everlasting, the last of which marked her most recent appearance on the Broadway stage.
Beyond Broadway, Parcells has toured the United States in several productions. She played Velma Kelly in Chicago, Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and performed in the ensemble of Some Like It Hot. In 2024 she appeared at Timberlake Playhouse in the lead role of Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes.
