Harrison Chad

Harrison Chad is an American actor born on July 17, 1992, in New York City. He began performing at the age of six and went on to build a career spanning Broadway, television, film, and voice acting. He is a graduate of Brown University, where he completed his studies in 2014.

Chad appeared in four Broadway productions between 1987 and 2004. His credits include Peter Pan, Les Misérables, Beauty and the Beast, and Caroline, or Change, in which he performed opposite Tonya Pinkins. A 2006 Kennedy Center production of Mame, in which he appeared alongside Christine Baranski, added to his stage work outside of Broadway.

In regional theater, Chad took part in a 2012 workshop of The Black Suits at Barrington Stage Company, and the following year performed in the Joe Iconis musical's production at Center Theatre Group in Los Angeles.

His voice work includes originating the role of Boots the Monkey on Dora the Explorer for the show's first four seasons from 2000 to 2007, as well as contributing to Go, Diego, Go! He provided the singing voice of Leo on Little Einsteins from 2005 to 2009, and voiced Cardigan in Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure. He also appeared as young Tarzan in the film Tarzan 2. His voice performance as Boots earned him a Young Artist Awards nomination in 2004 in the category of Best Performance in a Voice-Over Role – Young Actor.

Chad's live-action screen work includes roles in the Comedy Central film The Hebrew Hammer and the Showtime film Carry Me Home. His television guest appearances include Ed, Smash, Blue Bloods, Divorce, and Murphy Brown.
