Harold A. Robe (1881–1946) was an American lyricist and Broadway performer whose career spanned the early decades of the twentieth century. Active on Broadway between 1906 and 1915, Robe also established himself as a songwriter, contributing lyrics to a number of popular songs of the era.
His Broadway appearances included productions across multiple genres. Among his stage credits were the play Made in America, the musical Dancing Around, the revue America, The Man with Three Wives, and La Belle Paree.
Beyond the stage, Robe worked as a lyricist, frequently collaborating with composer Gitz Rice. Their partnership produced several songs that gained popular recognition. The most notable of these was Dear Old Pal of Mine. Additional songs Robe wrote include Because You're Here, Mary Lee (Merrily I'll Come to You), and Never Swap Horses When You're Crossing a Stream.
