Hallie Kate Eisenberg

Hallie Kate Eisenberg is an American actress born on August 2, 1992, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She grew up in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and is the daughter of Amy and Barry Eisenberg, the latter of whom ran a hospital before becoming a college professor. Her siblings include actor Jesse Eisenberg and a sister named Kerri. Eisenberg was named after the character Hallie O'Fallon from the film All I Want for Christmas, a role played by Thora Birch. She was raised in a secular Jewish household and attended East Brunswick High School. She later enrolled at American University, earning a degree in International Studies from the School of Public Affairs in 2014.

Eisenberg first gained widespread recognition in the late 1990s and early 2000s through a series of Pepsi commercials in which she was widely referred to as "The Pepsi Girl." Her film debut came in the children's film Paulie (1998), in which she played the young owner of the title parrot. She subsequently appeared in several made-for-television films before taking supporting roles in The Insider (1999) and Bicentennial Man (1999). In 2000, she co-starred alongside Minnie Driver in Beautiful and portrayed Helen Keller in a television remake of The Miracle Worker. A television remake of The Goodbye Girl followed in 2004, in which she appeared opposite Jeff Daniels and Patricia Heaton. Her later film credits include How to Eat Fried Worms (2006), a New Line Cinema adaptation of Thomas Rockwell's book of the same name, and the independent feature P.J. (2007), in which she co-starred with John Heard, Vincent Pastore, and Robert Picardo.

Eisenberg made her Broadway debut in 2001 in the Roundabout Theatre's production of Clare Boothe Luce's play The Women, in which she appeared in the credit listed as The Old Women. In 2010, she stepped away from her acting career to attend college and has not been active in the entertainment industry since. She was, however, credited as an assistant to the producers of the 2019 film The Art of Self-Defense, which starred her brother Jesse Eisenberg. She has otherwise avoided publicity since withdrawing from performing.
