Gregory Diaz IV

Gregory Diaz IV, born May 2, 2005, in Manhattan, New York City, is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent. He received his education at Professional Performing Arts High School for one semester before transferring to Dwight Global Online.

Diaz began building his stage career in his early years, joining the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the York Theater in 2016 as Schroeder, part of the production's first all-kid professional cast. He subsequently joined the closing cast of the Broadway production of Matilda the Musical as a Bruce swing, a credit verified in the Broadway database as part of his work on the show between 2013 and 2015. In early 2017, Diaz was cast as Tommy in the final U.S. touring production of Matilda the Musical.

His stage work continued with the production of Zurich at NYTW in January 2018, for which he earned a nomination for Outstanding Ensemble at the New York Innovative Theatre Awards. Later that year, in May 2018, he took on the lead role of Pedro in Pedro Pan at the Acorn Theatre, a performance that earned him a NYMF Performance Award.

On screen, Diaz appeared in the 2015 film Carrie Pilby as Obnoxious Kid #1. In March 2018, he appeared in the Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt as Quentin. He was cast as Luis Acosta in the comedy film Vampires vs. the Bronx, announced in June 2018, and made a guest appearance on NBC's New Amsterdam in December 2019. In July 2022, it was announced that Diaz would appear in The Long Game alongside Jay Hernandez, Julian Works, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Brett Cullen, Oscar Nuñez, and Paulina Chávez. He is also known for his role as Sonny in the musical drama film In the Heights.
