Ginna Claire Mason

Ginna Claire Mason is an American actress whose career spans Broadway, national touring productions, and television film. She grew up in Brentwood, Tennessee, near Nashville, and developed an early interest in performance alongside a passion for horseback riding. A formative moment came at age 13 when she traveled to New York and attended a Broadway production of Wicked for the first time. She went on to earn a BFA from Elon University in 2013.

Mason began her professional stage career with her first Equity role in the first national touring company of Footloose. She subsequently toured nationally with Newsies, a credit that also appears among her Broadway work. Her Broadway appearances span 2003 to 2019 and include Newsies the Musical, Wicked, Kristin Chenoweth: For the Girls, and Flashdance the Musical. The role of Glinda in Wicked became a defining part of her career: after serving as a standby for sixteen months and performing the role on the national tour, Mason joined the Broadway company of Wicked as Glinda in 2019.

Beyond the stage, Mason has built a substantial presence on the Hallmark Channel. She made her Hallmark Christmas movie debut in A Holiday Spectacular in 2022, followed by A Heidelberg Christmas in 2023. In 2024, she starred in A Carol for Two alongside Jordan Litz, a former Wicked costar. Her 2025 Hallmark projects include Hats Off to Love, a Kentucky Derby-themed film, and A Newport Christmas, for which she is set to record a new original song.

Mason is married to Eric Moffet, a pilot, and the couple have two children, Cooper and Annabelle. She maintains a close friendship and business partnership with fellow Wicked performer Mary Kate Morrisey. In 2024, Mason returned to Elon University to deliver the commencement address.
