About
Gary Imhoff is an American actor whose career has spanned stage, television, film, and voice work. He made his Broadway debut in 1972 in Godspell, a credit that established his early presence in the New York theater world.
Imhoff is perhaps most recognized for his recurring role as Curtis Estabrook on the television drama Falcon Crest, in which he appeared across eight episodes during the 1987–1988 season. His voice work has also brought him considerable recognition, most notably as Prince Cornelius in the 1994 Don Bluth animated feature Thumbelina and as Harry Osborn, who also becomes the Green Goblin II, in the 1994 Spider-Man animated series, a role he reprised across 23 episodes through 1998. He additionally provided the voice of the Green Goblin II in the 1996 video production Spider-Man: Sins of the Fathers.
His television guest appearances span several decades and include roles on Another Day, The Runaways, How the West Was Won, Taxi, Barney Miller, The Waltons, Eight Is Enough, The Powers of Matthew Star, Defenders of the Earth, Throb, What a Country, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Monk, Carnivàle, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He also appeared in two episodes each of Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction and Life and Stuff.
On film, Imhoff's credits include The Seniors, Zuma Beach, The Nude Bomb, It Came Upon the Midnight Clear, Summer School, Rage, Skyscraper, The Green Mile, The Wager, and The M Word, among others. He appeared in the 1980 television film Lucy Moves to NBC, playing Fred Silverman.
In addition to his performing career, Imhoff has worked as an educator in the acting field. He taught at Milton Katselas' Beverly Hills Playhouse and has led The Professional Artists Workshop and The Musical Artists Workshop at the Whitmore-Lindley Theatre in North Hollywood, California. Imhoff is a Scientologist.
