Franklin Ritchie, born George Frank Ritchie on June 26, 1865, in Ritchie, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, was an American actor whose career spanned both the Broadway stage and silent film.

Ritchie maintained a presence on Broadway from 1897 to 1912, appearing in productions that included His Wife by His Side, The Road to Arcady, The Sign of the Rose, The Marriage of a Star, and Israel, among others. Following his stage career, he transitioned to silent film, appearing in fifty-one productions between 1913 and 1917 through work with the American Film Company. His film credits include Man's Enemy (1914), Not My Sister (1916), The Undertow (1916), and The Gentle Intruder (1917). After concluding his film work, Ritchie became an automobile dealer.

Ritchie died on January 25, 1918, at the age of fifty-two, near Los Angeles, California. He was a passenger in a car driven by his friend William Hamilton when the vehicle skidded off a mountain road and fell down an embankment after the road's edge collapsed. Ritchie died instantly in the accident, while Hamilton sustained painful but non-serious injuries.
