Frank Garnier Jaquet (March 16, 1885 – May 11, 1958) was an American actor whose career spanned stage, film, and television from the 1920s through the mid-1950s. He was known primarily for supporting roles across more than one hundred and forty film and television appearances over the course of his career.
Jaquet's stage work began in summer stock, with a 1925 engagement at the Elitch Theatre. His Broadway career ran from 1934 to 1945 and included appearances in both plays and musicals. His credited Broadway productions include the musical The Red Mill, as well as Chalked Out, Iron Men, Mulatto, and Potash and Perlmutter, the last of which was staged in 1935.
At the age of forty-nine, Jaquet entered film with his debut in the 1934 short War Is a Racket. Over the following two decades, he accumulated credits in more than one hundred and forty films and television episodes, working consistently in supporting capacities throughout that period.
Jaquet died on May 11, 1958, in Los Angeles following a heart attack. He was seventy-three years old. He is interred at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
